Our Story
In 2013, after threats to legislate gun control sparked a run on guns and ammunition, we became concerned about how and where gun owners would store these weapons. Apartment renters, for example, have limited places to securely store weapons and other valuable or sensitive items. Between the mattresses, or in a drawer is never a good idea. After talking about this issue for a while, the light went on: A storage system that can be hidden among clothes in the closet, that has a locked compartment and that can be locked to the closet rod. The Original Hangman® Triple-Secure Storage systems were born. On September 12, 2017, the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted Hangman Systems, LLC US Patent No. 9,759,516 recognizing the uniqueness of the Triple Secure design of The Original Hangman® systems. US Patent No. 10,435,200 was issued on October 8, 2019. The Original Hangman® systems were designed and are assembled in Livingston, Texas.
